Import / Flagging Route

Support to define the correct route for temporary import, definitive import, regularization, Mexican registration, flagging, or documentation review.

Who it's for

Owners or buyers with a foreign-flagged vessel in Mexico, or planning to bring one in, who are not sure which documentary route applies to their situation.

What's included

  • Import/flagging route assessment
  • Document readiness review
  • A map of missing documents
  • Third-party coordination points (customs agent, authority, registration office) where applicable
  • A practical summary of the route and its limitations

What's not included

  • ARMA does not guarantee import approval, flagging, or registration
  • ARMA does not act as a customs agent or file the process with authorities directly, unless separately agreed and qualified
  • ARMA does not control government timelines, fees, or decisions
  • ARMA does not represent the client before customs or maritime authorities
  • ARMA does not certify the outcome of a regularization process

When it makes sense

Use this service when an owner is not sure which import, regularization, or flagging route applies, or needs a documentation review before starting the process.

How ARMA works

ARMA reviews the vessel's documentation and situation, assesses the route that may apply, identifies missing documents, and coordinates with third parties where applicable.

This service is delivered by agreed scope and is subject to documentation, access, and — where applicable — third-party or authority requirements. ARMA provides independent advisory support; ARMA does not replace a certified surveyor, attorney, notary, insurer, financial institution, or government authority where one is legally or contractually required.
