Terms of Use
The rules for using this website, and how an actual ARMA engagement begins.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
2. Informational nature of this website
This website describes ARMA's advisory services for general informational purposes. Nothing on this site constitutes a report, opinion, appraisal, survey, or advice about any specific vessel.
3. No client relationship from browsing or messaging
Browsing this website, downloading the checklist, or sending ARMA an email or message does not, by itself, create a client relationship, an engagement, or any obligation on ARMA's part. A client relationship begins only once ARMA confirms scope and both parties complete the engagement process described below.
4. How engagement actually starts
Work begins only after: ARMA confirms the scope of the matter; you receive and accept a quote; you receive and sign ARMA's digital engagement package, including the applicable service agreement, disclaimer, and privacy consent; and any required payment is completed. ARMA does not begin work, and does not release findings or reports, before these steps are complete.
5. Intellectual property
The content, design, text, graphics, and marks on this website belong to ARMA — AR Maritime Advisors or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse this content for commercial purposes without ARMA's written consent.
6. Prohibited use
You agree not to use this website to violate applicable law, to misrepresent your identity or authority, to attempt unauthorized access to ARMA's systems, or to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in connection with a request for services.
7. External links
This website may link to third-party tools or resources, such as the Brevo checklist form. ARMA is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of external sites.
8. Third-party tools
ARMA relies on third-party tools — including email, file storage, and digital signature providers — to deliver its services. Use of those tools is subject to each provider's own terms.
9. Limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by applicable law, ARMA is not liable for damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its general content. This limitation does not apply to the specific terms of a signed engagement agreement, which governs any contracted service.
10. Changes to these terms
ARMA may update these terms from time to time. The version and date above reflect the current version.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
