Service

Remote Technical Diagnosis

ARMA reviews a specific technical problem remotely, using the information, photos and videos the client sends and a video call, and delivers a written technical opinion with the recommended next step.

Who it's for

Owners with a specific problem on board (a noise, overheating, an alarm, a leak) who want a technical opinion before deciding what to do, when ARMA cannot be on board.

What's included

  • Review of the information, photos, videos, alarms, symptoms or estimate you send
  • A video call by Google Meet to see the problem and ask questions
  • A written report: summary of the problem, remote findings and technical hypothesis
  • What could not be verified remotely and the risk of continuing to operate
  • Recommendations and the recommended next step; the decision is the client’s

What's not included

  • It does not replace an on-site inspection
  • No disassembly, instrumented testing or direct verification of systems
  • ARMA does not perform the repair
  • It is not a survey, an insurance opinion or a seaworthiness certification
  • ARMA does not guarantee a fix or that the hypothesis is the definitive cause

When it makes sense

Use this service when something on board does not look right and you need a quick technical read before calling a shop, buying parts or deciding whether to keep operating.

How ARMA works

You send the information, photos and videos of the problem. ARMA reviews them, holds a video call with you by Google Meet, and delivers a written report with its technical opinion and the recommended next step. Payment is 100% before starting.

Frequently asked questions

Where does ARMA provide this service?

Anywhere: it is done remotely. ARMA is based in La Paz and, if an on-site inspection is needed afterwards, also serves Los Cabos and other locations in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

What should I send?

A short description of the problem and when it started, photos and videos (with sound if there is a noise), any alarm or reading on the panel, and the estimate or diagnosis from a shop if you have one.

What will ARMA tell me?

What most likely is happening, what could not be verified remotely, the risk of continuing to operate, and what to do next: fix it, have it checked on site, or monitor it.

What if it needs someone on board?

The report says so. An on-site inspection or a repair estimate review is quoted separately.

This service is delivered by agreed scope and is subject to the information the client provides. ARMA provides independent advisory support; ARMA does not replace a certified surveyor, attorney, notary, insurer, financial institution, or government authority where one is legally or contractually required.
